“And this is the circle of real estate,” says Jantine Rosina van Oosten with a smile as she sits across from us at our office on the Paulus Potterstraat in Amsterdam.

Jantine has been active in real estate for many years, both in the Netherlands and in Spain, and is a trusted and long-standing connection of Nomos Real Estate Circle.

Today, she shares how her journey has come full circle and how she now supports clients as an independent Boutique Real Estate Consultant focused on the Costa del Sol Spain.

Let’s start at the beginning. How did Felizz Real Estate come into being?

“In 2023, I attended MIPIM, the global real estate conference in Cannes. During that time, it became increasingly clear how strong the interest in Spanish real estate was within my network.

I had recently purchased an apartment in Estepona, the place where I lived for nearly twelve years, and I was constantly being asked the same questions:

Do you know a reliable real estate agent? Is this a good place to live? How does the notary process work? Can you recommend a Ditch-speaking  lawyer?

Those questions showed me there was a real need for personal, trustworthy guidance when buying property in Spain. With my background in real estate and my extensive local network, I founded Felizz Real Estate to help clients navigate that process with confidence.”

How has your role evolved since then?

“Felizz Real Estate has grown along with me. Today, I work as an independent Boutique Real Estate Consultant, guiding clients on a highly personal level.

I consciously choose to work with a limited number of clients at a time, so I can be fully involved in every step of their journey,  from orientation to keys at the notary.”

What role does Nomos Real Estate Circle play in your work?

“Nomos feels very natural to me. Shortly after reconnecting, we decided to collaborate and present selected Spanish real estate opportunities through Nomos Real Estate Circle.

What I value most is the shared mindset: quality over quantity, personal relationships, and long-term trust.

Real Estate is not just about transactions,  it’s about people, timing, and doing things the right way.

That’s exactly where Nomos and I align.”

How do you guide Dutch clients looking for a home in Spain?

“Although I’m largely based in Spain, I really enjoy meeting Dutch clients in person first. Those conversations often take place at the Nomos offices in Amsterdam and are essential to truly understand someone’s wishes, lifestyle, and motivations.

From there, I guide clients in choosing the right region and property. Some prefer to explore independently with local guidance; others like me to accompany them personally. Both are fine,  the process is always tailored.

The most special moment is still the same: sitting at the notary and handing over the keys to someone’s dream home.”

Do you also assist with rentals and investments?

“Yes. Many buyers want to combine personal use with rental opportunities. Spain has strict regional regulations regarding rental licenses, and these vary by area. I help clients navigate this process carefully so everything is legally compliant and well-organized.”

In which regions are you active?

“I focus on the location Costa del Sol, From Málaga to Sotogrande where I live and work myself”

Netherlands or Spain?

“Spain, without hesitation.”

Mediterranean or modern resort?

“Mediterranean! I live in a Mediterranean-style home myself. The colors, the atmosphere… it feels like home.”

Champagne or Cava?

“Cava. Preferably on a lovely spot in the Spanish sun.”
